IHRC Georgia, Tbilisi: 800 Refugees Receives Free Eye Medical Treatment at Opthalmology Campaign
In Georgia, the Ministry of Forcibly Displaced Persons of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia - Asset Disposition and Enterprise Management Agency together with the International Human Rights Commission - IHRC organized free eye examinations for people who were forced to leave the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, as part of the ophthalmology campaign and medical consultations in Tbilisi
During the medical campaign, eye tests were carried out on 800 refugees from Abkhazia. According to the Doctor's recommendation, glasses were provided free of charge to the examined persons with sight defects.
The International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) thanks the Minister David Patsatsia for the jointly carried out Action and the donor and sponsors from Poland, the logistics company Uniwersum - BLC and the President of this company Sławomir Rogowski for the logistics of the container with gifts from Gdańsk (Poland) - Poti (Georgia) and Dr. Artur Tomczak for donated medical equipment.
