by Vincenzo Torricelli
On November 19, 2021 at the International Classical high School” Giovanni Meli” in Palermo, it took place a meeting about Prevention of bullying phenomena, cyberbullying and use of social network. A special thanks for her availability and for the realization of the event goes to the Head teacher “Professor Cinzia Citarella”, who believed in our project from the beginning. We think that this experience, is very important for students, because it represents a motivation and a start point for our teenagers who live in a society of the future, increasingly oriented towards new technologies. The choice of subjects we talked about depends on the convinction that we can avoid and prevent bullying phenomena and cyberbullying, but to do this is necessary that teenagers know the dark side of social media, a very underrated aspect, especially for the risks and the consequences that eveybody of us can have when we use them in a wrong way .We thank also: “teacher Dario di Fiore”, a bullying and cyberbullying Referent, for his availibility and Kindness. The speakers of the event were ”Professor Andrea Torcivia Director of Criminilogist and Sociologist Forensic Laboratory “CESFAT”, a Commissioner IHRC of the Observatory for monitoring, prevention and contrast of violence against women, children and teenagers, Doctor Vincenzo Torricelli Relational Sociologist and Professional Counselor, the Lawyer Francesca Tuzzolino, President of “ASSET Human Resources”, Doctor Marco Falcone Criminologist, The Lawyer Sebastiano Migliore The manager of “CESFAT” and Doctor Giuseppe Puleo President of the National Association of State Police In Bagheria and the manager of “SIULP”.
